I am currently interested in the meanings we place on everyday objects, and lately, I have been drawing the kitchen directly below my studio. This drawing was made after a conversation about an ineffectual betrayal, and I chose the knives as a kind of portrait. It was a quick but controlled drawing, which can sometimes happen.
