This artwork begins with an analogue foundation of mark-making in paint and pencil, layered with digitally composed arrangements transferred using acrylic mediums and further enriched by additional marks and adhesive elements. Photographs—sourced from Italy, the French Alps, and of the artist’s own works, including a decades-old etching of power cables from their childhood village—are hand-cropped into shapes traced from organic patterns found in nature.

Crisply masked varnish edges enhance dimensionality and add relief, while the interplay of manufactured precision and natural textures evokes themes of memory, place, and coexistence, inviting viewers to navigate the layered terrain.
